Certifications your permit office signs off on.
When a permit office wants a sealed engineer's letter, an inspector flags something mid-project, or a fill job needs a foundation certification — we're the P.E. you call, not a subcontractor you have to manage. One call, one sealed report, and we work around your crew's schedule, not the other way around.
What we do for contractors.
Four situations where a contractor calls us directly rather than routing through a lender or title company.
Letters that satisfy permit offices
When a building department wants a P.E.'s sealed opinion before signing off on a job, we deliver exactly that — formatted the way permit reviewers expect, so it clears on first submission.
Mid-project evaluations
Something unexpected gets opened up — a foundation issue, a framing condition nobody planned for — and you need a P.E. opinion before you close it back up. We prioritize these and typically get someone out fast.
Manufactured-home foundation certs
Doing fill or foundation work on a manufactured home site? Our PFGMH and affixation reports certify the foundation meets HUD's permanent foundation standard — the pair title companies and FHA underwriters look for.
Aluminum-wiring certification
Finished an Alumiconn remediation on a branch-circuit aluminum wiring job? Our wiring certification is the sign-off an insurer needs to bind coverage on the home. St. Louis metro only.
We don't compete with you.
Worth saying directly, since it's the first question most contractors have.
We inspect and certify. We don't build, remediate, or bid against you for the work.
Every report we deliver — a structural inspection, a PFGMH and affixation cert, an Alumiconn sign-off — exists to certify work that's already been done, usually by a contractor like you. We have no incentive to find problems that aren't there, and no construction crew competing for the job. The seal is the product, not the labor.
Scheduling around your crew.
The field visit is built to fit into your job, not the other way around.
Tell us the access window and we work inside it — early morning before the crew arrives, a lockbox code, a walkthrough between trades. Standard scheduling is 24 hours out in urban markets and 72 hours in rural areas, and mid-project evaluations get moved up when a job is sitting open waiting on a sealed opinion.
The sealed PDF is typically delivered within 24 hours of the site visit, so a permit hold or an insurer's request doesn't sit on your schedule any longer than it has to.
Get it certified.
Send the address and what needs sign-off — we'll confirm scope and get you on the schedule.
