Moved manufactured home reports · September 2026
A manufactured home installed at a new property may now have a conventional financing path. The lender needs a structural integrity inspection after the move, completed by a licensed Professional Engineer and retained in the mortgage file.
Freddie Mac’s September 2, 2026 update opened this path for qualifying homes. Your lender confirms eligibility; we document the structure.
One engineer. One accountable report.
What the report answers
The inspection focuses on the parts of a manufactured home most affected by transport and reinstallation. We document current conditions at the property, then issue a clear structural opinion within the agreed scope.
Distortion, damage, weld changes, corrosion, and evidence the frame is carrying the home as intended.
For multi-section homes, verify marriage-line connections and visible signs of movement between sections.
Review piers, footings, anchors, tie-downs, and the load path created at the current site.
